Extended Warranty
When you pay for a covered item entirely with your Starwood Preferred
Guest® Credit Card from American Express, Extended Warranty* extends the
terms of the original manufacturer's warranty for a period of time equal
to the duration of the original manufacturer's warranty, up to one
additional year. Items with warranties less than a year will have
extended warranties equal to the original warranty time period. Coverage
is limited to the actual amount charged to your Starwood Preferred
Guest® Credit Card from American Express for the item or $10,000,
whichever is less, not to exceed $50,000 per Card member account per
policy year. |
Purchase Protection
Purchase Protection* provides you with added peace of mind when you use
your Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express for
eligible purchases. Items are protected against theft and accidental
damage for up to 90 days from the date of purchase - at no additional
charge. Coverage is good for up to $1,000 per Occurrence, and up to
$50,000 per Cardmember per account, per year.
Purchase Satisfaction
With Return Protection*, if you try to return a designated item within
90 days from the date of purchase and the merchant won't take it back,
American Express will refund the full purchase price, up to $300 per
item, excluding shipping and handling, up to a maximum of $1,000
annually per Card account, if you purchased it entirely with your
