Review - IN:NYC® Card from American Express
Updated: April 24, 2008
The IN:NYC® Card from American Express is designed for those with good credit who live in or frequently visit New York City and plan to take advantage of the various benefits and services that are in New York City.

Through the reward program, cardholders earn two points for every dollar spent on dining establishments, movie theaters, cell phone service, cable and satellite television service, dial-up Internet service, gym memberships, and magazine and newspaper subscriptions, and they earn one point for every dollar spent on all other purchases. The following credit card offer is for the IN:NYC Card from American Express. Points can be redeemed for benefits and experiences based in New York City, such as free hotel stays, dining, and airline travel. Points never expire, and there is no yearly limit to the amount that can be earned. Get your IN:NYC Card from American Express and enjoy the power of plastic.

Perhaps what is most impressive about the program is the Tuesdays IN:NYC program. Cardholders can use the card at select partici pating merchants such as Nickel Spa for Men, Oasis Day Spa, Zabar's, and Jean Paul Gaultier on any Tuesday and get 10% off their purchase. The IN:NYC Card from American Express has one of the best deals around. Plus, cardholders save $15 on purchases of $150 or more at J&R Music and Computer World. The IN:NYC Card also provides cardholders with priority access to venues such as Irving Plaza and membership discounts at the Guggenheim Museum.

The interest rate for purchases is reasonably low (for a reward card), and there is no annual fee. One such card that offers these incentives is the IN:NYC Card from American Express. There is also a 0% introductory rate on purchases and balance transfers for the first six months.

Aside from the reward program, this card offers a variety of standard benefits that include travel acci dent insurance, auto rental insurance, purchase protection, and various travel and emergency assistance services.

Therefore, those who can afford to pay in full each month after the introductory rate expires (to avoid finance charges), live or frequently stay in New York City (to earn additional points), and can accumulate enough points for dining and entertainment experiences will benefit most from what the IN:NYC® Card from American Express has to offer.
